Los hermanos Gonzales son herederos de una ancestral tradición artística de la talla y construcción de juguetes de madera.
Los juguetes siguen patrones tradicionales propios del valle del Mantaro. Los Gonzales son del distrito de Molinos, provincia de Jauja (Junín). Destacó el maestro tallador Pablo Gonzales Caballero (1904-1985). Hoy, esta notable vena artística continúa en sus hijos Maximiliano, Félix, Tomás y Flaviano Gonzales Rojas, éste último lider de la empresa familiar.
La madera de mayor uso para producir las tallas proviene del aliso, árbol de la sierra central del Perú. La talla conserva la tradición, sin embargo, también hay diseños innovadores
Los tintes utilizados inicisalmente fueron anilinas naturales, ahora también utilizan lacas finas no tóxicas.

When the wood summons up new life
The Gonzales brothers are the heirs of an ancestral artistic tradition of carving and construction of wood toys.
The toys follow traditional patterns exclusive of the valley of the Mantaro river. The Gonzaleses are from the district of Molinos (Mills), at the province of Jauja (Junín). Pablo Gonzales Caballero is honored as the carver's teacher (1904-1985). Today, this remarkable artistic vein continues with his sons Maximiliano, Felix, Tomás and Flaviano Gonzales Rojas, this last one leader of the familiar enterprise.
The major wood used to produce the sculptures comes from the alder, tree of the central ranges of Peru.
The carvings, although they conserve the tradition, nevertheless, have innovating designs. They formerly used dyes natural anilines, now they also use nontoxic fine lacquers.
